Please join Corkbuzz in celebrating 28 years of Macari Vineyards! Macari wines have been a constant offering on Corkbuzz wine lists for more than 11 years. We are thrilled to host Gabriella Macari and Wine Club Director Nicole Hennessey who will present a selection of Macari wines for an intimate walk-around event where enthusiasts and wine club members meet. A selection of new Macari releases and limited Macari library wines will be available to taste and sip, along with cheese and charcuterie.
About Gabriella:
Gabriella has been an integral part of Macari Vineyards since its inception in 1995, working closely with her family and currently serving as the winery’s Director of Operations. In this role, she manages two properties in addition to overseeing sales, education, and marketing, while assisting in the cellar and vineyard. Formally an Account Manager at a boutique Public Relations firm, Gabriella has worked with Ribera del Duero, Rioja, Wines from Spain, and Moët Hennessy’s Estates & Wine.
Gabriella holds the WSET Diploma and is a Certified Sommelier. She passed the Master of Wine exam in July 2022 and is currently working on a research paper to complete the credential. She currently sits on the all-volunteer board of Slow Food East End furthering her commitment to sustainable agriculture and locally sourced food. Gabriella continues to consult for wineries and regions across the globe and frequently conducts tastings, webinars, and seminars for both beginners and advanced enthusiasts.
