We will discuss history, appellation laws, grape varieties, styles, and iconic producers. You’ll learn about the white wines, syrah-based AOCs like Cornas, Crozes-Hermitage, and Saint Joseph, and Grenache blends in Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Gigondas, and Côte du Rhône and beyond. Class log-in will be sent by 12 noon on the morning of the class. Follow-up notes are sent the following day.
