Union Square | Tour of France

13 E. 13th Street, New York, NY 10003

It is impossible to think about wine without thinking about France. France is truly a country dedicated to wine, and great wine, at that. Bordeaux, Burgundy, Champagne, Alsace: all have their traditions, native grapes, and regional foods. But what makes France so special? In this class, we’re taking a tour of this gorgeous country. First, we're going deep into the underground, dimly lit caves of Champagne to explore our favorite bubbly treat! From there, we're exploring everywhere from the canals of Colmar in Alsace and the infamous hill of Hermitage, to the Loire Valley, as we cycle beside the river from town to town. We'll cover everything from wine laws to classic grape varieties, regions, and more. Six classic French examples will be tasted.

Join us at the bar for a glass of wine and dinner the day of class and receive 10% off your check.

Live wine classes are led by Corkbuzz Sommeliers and last 90 minutes. Class includes 6 (2 ounce) pours of wine, printed materials, and complimentary cheese. Guests will be seated at communal tables. Please refrain from wearing heavy fragrances to class.
