Chelsea Market | Exploring Germany

75 9th Avenue, New York, NY 10011

Riesling is synonymous with Germany, but outside of this acidic, aromatic white wine, Germany offers a bounty of grape varieties ranging from whites like Grauburgunder to reds like Spätburgunder (yes, there are reds too!), and even sparkling Sekt. Come explore this historic cool climate region of Europe. Kabinett, Eiswein, Gutswein, Grosses Gewächs - we'll discuss all these terms while learning the history, geography, and appellations. By the end, you will be able to discuss the range of styles that make this country's wines so diverse and delicious! You'll taste 6 wines from anbaugebiete like the Rheingau, Mosel, Baden, and more.

Join us at the bar for a glass of wine and dinner the day of class and receive 10% off your check.
