The Judgment of Paris Recreated

The Judgment of Paris was a wine competition held in Paris on May 24, 1976 that changed the view of California wines forever. Organized by Steven Spurrier, the competition was a blind tasting pitting French wines against Californian wines. Much to everyone’s surprise, the Californian wines took first place, putting Napa Valley on the map. Join us as we duplicate this monumental wine moment in history. We’ll be judges for a day as we taste four dueling pairs of wines and rate our favorites on a score sheet. Let’s see which wines prevail!
