Seasonal Green Market Class

Wine should be viewed as an additional ingredient to your dish, enhancing each and every dining experience. Knowing how to match your food to your drink is important to accentuate and compliment the unique flavors in both. To celebrate World Vegetarian Day on Oct. 1, we’ll be featuring three vegetarian dishes created by Chef AJ Schaller, to teach you how to accurately pair wine with seasonal produce you can easily find at the Greenmarket. We’ll cover the importance of good pairing; general pairing guidelines; and for each vegetarian dish we’ll provide one “match made in heaven” wine, one “that’ll do,” and one “mismatch” to emphasize the elements of a great pairing.
