Class and Event Cancellation Policy
Our goal is always to make it easy for you to learn about, share and explore wine. We offer advance registration for classes and reservations for special events to make planning easier for you. But we also understand that schedules change (and that sometimes it’s good to be a little spontaneous).
For that reason, our cancellation policy is as follows. We also always encourage you to drop by our studio at any time to see what’s happening. Classes and events will always remain open to drop-ins until there are no more seats available.
For cancellations over 48 hours in advance, credit will be given to your Corkbuzz Account Balance. Funds in your Corkbuzz Account Balance do not expire, and they can be used toward registering for any future class or event. To request a cancellation and credit, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your order number.
For cancellations within 48 hours, no credit/exchange is possible. If you’re unsure of your schedule and don’t feel like registering in advance, you’re always welcome to “drop in” for your desired class or event, as space may still be available.
Note that for classes and events with limited space, the online registration/reservation system shows the number of spots currently available, so you can refer to it for an idea of how much space may be left: Click on the Number of Attendees drop down as if you were going to register/reserve; the maximum number of attendees you can select indicates how many spots currently remain.
We also encourage you to send a friend in your place if something comes up and you can’t attend.
Class Levels and Costs
Class costs are determined based on materials provided during class, including wines poured and food served (where applicable).
Our class level legend is intended to help you choose a class that’s right for you, but there are no “pre-requisites” for any class at any level. Though intermediate and advanced classes may assume a foundation of wine knowledge, we promise to never “talk down” to any students. Asking questions is a founding principle of Corkbuzz, and so is making wine fun and accessible to everyone.

Allergies, Dietary Restrictions, Special Requests
If you are attending one of our classes, dinners or events and have an allergy, dietary restriction or special request, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know in advance so we can do our best to accommodate you. Please note that our menus and wine lists are always created with seasonality, suitability to the occasion and food/wine pairing affinities in mind! See something you don’t normally eat or drink? We encourage you to try it… you might like it!
Corkbuzz Gift Cards may be spent online for class or event registrations, or in our wine bar and studio for food, wine, classes or events.
Purchasing Gift Cards
Simply select a dollar amount to send from the Gift Cards page. You’ll be prompted during the checkout to supply a mailing address and the message to your recipient. Once your purchase is completed, we’ll take it from there! Gift Cards are sent by standard USPS mail and can take two to nine days to arrive based on destination.
Redeeming Gift Cards
If you receive a physical Gift Card or Certificate, you can use the Card or Certificate code during the checkout process when you’re asked to select a payment method. The funds from the Card or Certificate will be added to your Account Balance.
If you received an e-Gift Card by email, it will contain details of who sent you the e-Gift Card as well as the e-Gift Card number, which you should keep on file for reference. You can redeem your e-Gift Card in two ways:
- By clicking on the link within the email. This will take you to the store’s Redeem Gift Card page. You will be asked to create an account before the e-Gift Card is validated. Once you’ve created your account, the e-Gift Card will be placed in your Account Balance for you to spend on any items in our store.
- During the checkout process when you’re asked to select a payment method, there will be a box where you can enter an e-Gift Card number or promotional code. Enter the e-Gift Card number here and click the Apply button.
Buying with Gift Cards
If you have funds in your Account Balance, you can use those funds to purchase other items in our store. At the checkout stage, an option to redeem Gift Cards will appear. Checking this box will apply those funds from your Account Balance. Gift Cards can also be used in our wine studio on food and drink.
